The drive.
From Queenstown Airport to Wānaka is about an hour over the Crown Range, the high road between the two towns, with the Cardrona Valley on the way down.
When snow or ice makes the Crown Range a poor choice, we take the long way round through the Kawarau Gorge and Cromwell, a little under an hour and a half. Either way we handle the chains, and you arrive at your door, not a drop-off point.
Why private
No stops at other people's hotels and no waiting on other flights. You leave as soon as you land and your bags are in the car. A nicer way to arrive than a shuttle, and the car is yours the whole way.
The same trip runs the other way: picked up from your door in Wānaka in good time for your flight out of Queenstown. We also meet flights at Wānaka Airport, about ten minutes from town, and Christchurch Airport by arrangement.
